Imagine opening your eyes every morning, excited to go to work. Because of our amazing clients and community, we don’t have to imagine, it is our reality. Yes! Ceramics and Glass in Madison, AL hosted Average to art’s annual client/community appreciation night. This year we decided to have a wine tasting and tasted incredible wines brought to us by Ricardo N. Ponce from Alternative Wines.

Huntsville Botanical Garden - There’s always something growing on!

On June 2, 2006, the Huntsville Botanical Garden opened its new Nature Center and 2-acre Children’s Garden. Included in the new facility is the nation’s largest seasonal butterfly house. The Children's Garden is a two-acre area with 8 separate gardens, including the Space Garden with a real Space Station node (donated by Marshall Space Flight Center) and painted by Average to art, aquaponic display and Water Rocket Clock.  Huntsville Botanical Garden is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, supported by the community. March 4, 2006 - Average to Art Website Receives an ADDY Award
Average to Art received a Silver ADDY Award at the annual TVAF awards party on March 4th, 2006 for its website. The website was designed and is maintained by ChromAddict designs (www.chromaddict.com). ChromAddict received a total of 5 ADDY Awards this year. The award show featured an old-time medicine show theme complete with cowboys, magic show, and awards resembling a medicine bottle.

Job Shadow Program

Beginning in February 2006, students across America will ‘shadow’ workplace mentors as they go through a normal day on the job. The program invites students to see firsthand how the skills learned in school relate to the workplace. Average to art partnered with Junior Achievement of Northern Alabama to host “shadows” from valley high schools. Average to art prides itself on teaching young people that you can make a living creating art while living your dreams.
